Now, rest assured that I don't think my child is an actual vampire - refer to the first sentence. Still...I have a hard time looking at this picture and not locking my bedroom door at night.

Son of Dracula??
Do you ever take one of those pictures of someone close to you that ends up not looking like them at all? I often find that pictures of me look bizarrely like Ringo Starr (Mom, maybe an explanation is finally due?). I took one such shot yesterday of my youngest. He was pulling out his ears and making monkey sounds, so I grabbed the camera and took a few pictures. The last one was where it got creepy. I know that my son has exceptionally pointy canine teeth, but never realized that the wideness of his mouth is Rob-Zombie-scary-movie-worthy. Then, take a look at the glazed look in his eyes. Doesn't he look like he's on the verge of some crazy feeding frenzy?
Now, rest assured that I don't think my child is an actual vampire - refer to the first sentence. Still...I have a hard time looking at this picture and not locking my bedroom door at night.

Yes, you're adopted. Contact the Starrs in Palm Springs, CA, for your inheritance. They gave you up at birth and Dad and I wanted a little girl.
That's still my grandson, though, and I think he favors Chad's side of the family.
Whoa! Those are some teeth!
Ha ha! Scary Mom always cracks me up! I must say this picture is a bit unnerving, although I did laugh for a good while at first...
Speaking of interesting pictures, have you seen the one of us on the new slideshow I added to my blog??? Classic.
