This isn't going to be a chronological review of our year. This is a random pass through our year and the random thoughts I have that go with it.
This is one of the first pictures of Stone in 2008. He's still just a baby, but looks so much more grown up now. He's watching a Spider Man trailer on the computer in this pic.

Here's a picture of Stone's big birthday present and the people who enjoyed it the day he got it:

This was a big fishing year. Chad sold the ski boat and bought a fishing boat. Pearce and Cole caught their first fish:

...and Pearce discovered of himself, after watching Chad fillet his fish, that he's a catch-n-release guy:

I watched Pearce and Cole fall effortlessly into their roll as big brother to Stone:

I know that the trampoline was a good gift:

Pearce and Cole are growing up so fast. I realized this while looking at these pictures of them in a relay race. When they were younger, they ran with glee. Now, they run with purpose:

I noticed that my kids have a 'pool personality'
Pearce is the weapons expert:

Cole is the camera clown:

And, after taking an unexpected fall into a pool, Stone is a side sitter/splasher:

Oh, and there was one more small thing about this year that is noteworthy:

I can't wait to see what my camera reveals to me at the end of 2009. Happy New Year!!!

First, your talent to capture these kinds of shots is amazing.
Second, half way through I realized this was you scrapbooking but I guess you would call it blogbooking. The way you comment and put the perfect pictures together is pure quality.
I thoroughly enjoyed seeing your 2008 unfold and I think 2009 will be even better because you are becoming a better photographer every day. And your subjects are only going to improve. Please don't stop.
I love it! Those are some pretty awesome pictures you have there too! I'm really glad we got to share/witness a lot of those happenings with you this year & we're looking forward to another great one with y'all!
What a year! You have so many great memories and pictures. I know 2009 will be great, too!
Wow What a great Blog! Not to sound like a broken rec... ah I mean Broken CD but it is all about the great Pics. You have done such a spectacular job at capturing the boys' personality. I started to pick my favorite pic and as I went back to look at them and confirm the one I thought was my favorite, I discovered something interesting. My fav seems to always be the last one I looked at. OR If you are a Grammar fan I should say "My fav seems to always be the last one at which I looked."
